You’re expected to adjust, refine, and reuse it over time.

What is MODO SCENT?

MODO SCENT is a solid fragrance system designed to carry the fragrance you already wear.

It provides a scent-neutral solid base that can be melted, adjusted, and reset — allowing you to carry and apply fragrance in a form that holds its shape and travels cleanly.

Is this a perfume?

MODO SCENT contains no added fragrance.
It exists to hold and release your fragrance, not replace it.

How does the solid fragrance system work?

  1. Melt the solid base
  2. Add your liquid fragrance
  3. Stir gently
  4. Let it set

Once set, it behaves as a solid — stable, portable, and predictable.

How much fragrance should I add?

As a starting point, we recommend 6–10 sprays of your liquid fragrance.

  • Lighter fragrances: closer to 10 sprays
  • Stronger or more concentrated fragrances: 6–8 sprays

This isn’t fixed. The system is designed to let you adjust based on how you wear scent.

Can I remelt and adjust it?

Yes — and this is intentional.

If the result is too subtle or too strong:

  • Remelt the base
  • Add more (or less) fragrance
  • Stir and reset

This is a reusable solid fragrance base, designed for iteration rather than guesswork.

What’s in the base?

MODO SCENT uses a scent-neutral solid fragrance base made from:

  • Organic, triple-filtered white beeswax
    Provides structure, stability, and clean resets.
  • Organic, unrefined shea butter
    Adds balance and smoothness without interfering with scent.
  • Organic, cold-pressed jojoba oil
    Lightweight and scent-neutral. Helps fragrance sit close to the skin.

No fillers.
Nothing that competes with fragrance.

How long does it last?

The base itself is stable and long-lasting when stored correctly.

Once fragrance is added, it is preserved within the balm for approximately 18 months, thanks to the stabilising properties of the beeswax.

Actual longevity may vary depending on:

  • The fragrance used
  • Storage conditions

This makes MODO SCENT suitable for long-term use and travel.

Will it change how my fragrance smells?

No.

The base is formulated to be scent-neutral and non-competitive.
Your fragrance remains the dominant note.

Will it affect performance or longevity?

It changes how you apply fragrance, not what you apply.

Most users find it:

  • More controlled
  • Easier to top up
  • Less wasteful

Actual longevity depends on the fragrance you add.

What fragrances work best?

Most liquid fragrances work well.

Very volatile or extremely alcohol-heavy formulations may require experimentation.
That’s part of the system — you’re in control.

Is it safe on skin?

MODO SCENT is made from a restrained selection of natural materials chosen for stability and skin compatibility.

As with any fragrance application:

  • Patch test first
  • Follow standard fragrance safety guidance
